Use of Website and Registration

To be eligible to purchase goods on this website you hereby represent and warrant that you will:

- register to use the website;

- be the holder of a valid debit/credit card and;

- be 18 years of age or older.

You also represent and warrant that the personal information you provide as a customer is

true. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes to that information.

If following registration with the Website you decide that you no longer wish to remain registered you may cancel your registration by sending notice of cancellation to info@babysbest.co.uk at any time.

We may issue a warning, suspend or terminate your subscription, use or access to this Website and refuse to provide our services to you without notice to you: (a) if you breach any of these Terms or warranties or any documents incorporated by reference or; (b) if we are unable to verify or authenticate any information that you provide to us during the course of any applicable registration or; (c) if we believe that your actions may cause legal liability for you, our users (registered or otherwise) or us.

You are responsible for all use of the Website made by you and for preventing unauthorised use of your user name and password. If you believe there has been any breach of security such as the disclosure, theft or unauthorised use of your user name and password, please notify us immediately.

Security

We have taken steps to ensure the security and privacy of our systems and our user’s data and personal information. Our Website uses a market leading secure payment system, Protx secure e-payment. Protx is a payment gateway which processes the payments. This provides the secure link between this Website and the bank to ensure that your card details are kept secure. Protx has achieved the highest level of compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI). They adhere to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, ensuring that your details remain secure throughout the transaction process. At checkout you are transferred via a secure server to Protx e-payment, a 128bit SSL encrypted secure page where you complete your order by providing your credit card details.

Our secure server encrypts all of your personal information (including name, address, credit card number) so that it cannot be read by anyone except by our secure server. When you enter the information required it is captured on a page that uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol by default.

Trade descriptions

We have made every effort to ensure that photography, product descriptions and details are accurate. However, differences in colours and textures may occur. Please note all measurements are approximate.

Prices

Where applicable, all our prices include VAT at the prevailing rate of 17.5% and all prices are displayed in UK Pounds Sterling.

Please note that Baby's Best ensures prices are correct at the time of order.

Our prices on this website are correct at the time of upload, but may be subject to change without giving prior notice.

Stock availability

Please note: on some occasions products may be out of stock. In this case we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option to either part-ship your order, including advice on when the rest of the order will be despatched, or to hold your goods until a date when the stock is due to arrive. There is of course no extra delivery charge.

Should you wish to cancel any products due to the prolonged delivery time, please inform us immediately.

Payment

All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to, or subsequently refuses to, or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will contact the card holder to inform him/her.

Our Returns Guarantee

We want you to be absolutely satisfied with our products. If, however, a product does not meet your expectation, please feel free to return the goods within 14 days of receipt of the product. We allow full payment refund (excluding any delivery payment), product exchange or, if you wish so, exchange of the product value for a voucher. Returned items must be unused, unopened, unwashed and in their original packaging. This returns policy does not apply to personalised goods, i.e. goods made to customer's specifications, such as mattresses or furniture. Also, this does not apply to goods which, by reason of their nature, cannot be returned, i.e. toiletries. In addition, we cannot accept the return of CDs, DVDs, tapes or other recording media, software or videos where the seal is broken. This does not apply in the case of faulty or incorrectly supplied goods.

Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights as a customer.

When the goods arrive, please inspect them immediately. If the parcel has been visibly damaged, please ask the carrier to give you a damage number, and inform us immediately.

After receipt of the returned item, we normally process the refund or exchange within 7 working days. Please quote your invoice number, name, full address and clearly mark the parcel as "Returns" with all items to be refunded or exchanged. Please accept that delivery charge is non-refundable. Damaged or faulty goods will be refunded including the postage (also applicable for vouchers) or exchanged and the postage refunded.

When you return goods, please obtain a "Proof of Postage Certificate" from your local post office as we cannot be held responsible for lost parcels on return to us. For your protection, we recommend that you return the item using the recorded delivery service or a courier.

Please note that a credit card refund can only be credited to the original card that the goods were purchased with.

Delivery

We have a standardised packing and delivery service for all orders up to £80 at just £2.50 per order. Your order will be despatched by the Royal Mail or, depending on size, weight or value of the order, by a courier service. For all UK and Northern Ireland orders over £80, delivery is FREE of CHARGE.

If you wish your order to be delivered to a non-UK or non-Northern Ireland residence, please contact us directly.

We aim to prepare your orders for shipping within one working day of receipt and to deliver your goods within the following 6 working days (subject to item availability).

Please note that we try to recycle as much as possible. The product(s) you order may therefore be dispatched in boxes that have been used before.

If you wish your goods to be sent via Express delivery, please allow two working days for your goods to arrive. The packing and delivery service for all orders up to £100 will be charged at £6.50 per order, including insurance. The Express delivery is FREE of CHARGE for orders with a minimum of £100.

Our Gift wrapping service includes the beautiful wrapping paper by Alphabet Art (Please refer to the section Gifts for more information and designs). If the product has an irregular shape we will use a specially designed Baby's Best gift box. This service will be charged at just £2.50 per item.

The delivery service may require a signature, so if you expect to be out when the delivery is due, please provide us with an alternate address such as a place of work where the order can be delivered. Alternatively, advise us of a neighbour's address.

We use Royal Mail or specialist mailing or express couriers, depending on the service level required or requested. Delivery in the UK by these methods usually takes between 3-7 days.

Please note that we do not accept any liability whatsoever for any delay in delivery caused by third parties (including Royal Mail or any mailing or courier service companies) that we may use to deliver your order.

Risk and Ownership

Title in the Goods shall pass to you upon delivery of the Goods and on our receipt of full payment. Legal ownership of the Goods will immediately revert to us if we refund any such payment to you or if the Goods are returned in accordance with any cancellation, refund, return or exchange policy as posted on this Website.

Risk of damage or loss of the Goods shall pass to you on delivery or, if you fail to take delivery of the Goods, at the time when the Goods are delivered (or delivery is attempted) to you in accordance with your instructions.
